Cheryl Evans
2026 Spring Workshop | April 28 – May 1
We are delighted to have Cheryl Evans lead our Spring Workshop. Cheryl is an Art Educator and a producing watercolorist, and holds Signature status in the Watercolor Art Society of Houston.
Her exciting and colorful watercolors have been accepted into many International Watercolor Competitions, and her work is in numerous corporate and private collections across the country, Japan, England, Norway, and Mexico.
She has taught art at the Glassel School of Art, of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Baytown Sterling High School for many years; at University of Houston, Lee College, and most recently, at Alvin Community College. Presently she is the Educational Director for the Watercolor Art Society – Houston, teaching watercolor and doing painting demos around the state. She continues to explore and experiment in watercolor and other painting mediums, and to pass her infectious enthusiasm on to other visual artists.
MONDAY NIGHT RECEPTION
On Monday April 27th, Cheryl Evans will also be the juror for our Spring Workshop Show. Join us for a reception, view our show and watch Cheryl paint a one hour demo. You do not need to be a member to attend. A $10 donation is kindly requested if you are not attending the workshop.
